BlueCheck makes it possible – and simple – to detect caries lesions early by making them easily visible with distinct blue color through a convenient procedure using a removable detection aid.
The problem is that early caries lesions aren’t visible, so they’re not detected – and the ability to halt or even reverse disease and the cost of surgical treatment increases as decay progresses.
With earlier diagnosis, non-surgical treatment can be initiated sooner, enamel damage can be prevented and reversed, and outcomes for patients are improved.
BlueCheck uses natural protein-binding chemistry to attach to porous dental hydroxyapatite (active sites of demineralization), with deeper coloration for deeper lesions and sensitive detection down to ~50um lesions. Whole mouth application, no additional equipment or lighting needed.
